Tri Counties Bank, based in Chico, California, donated $50,000 to the Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, which will use the funds for its 2023 Small Business Academy. This academy provides free programs for small business owners, according to a press release.
In particular, participants meet for two hours a week over eight weeks for a course, which is available in English or Spanish.
«As a leading community bank in California, Tri Counties Bank is proud to be a part of the growth of small businesses in Kern County,» Aytom Salomon, SVP and market president of Tri Counties Bank’s Greater Bakersfield region, said in the release. «The Small Business Academy provides much needed education, especially for businesses in rural areas.»
